Trumpton: Hot Fuzz

Trumpton is the most orderly little town in England — the fire brigade never fights fires, the council never raises its voice, and the annual fête has won Best Kept Village seventeen years running. When an unnervingly decorated big-city constable, PC Pawsworth, is reassigned here to keep him from making everyone else look bad, he begins to notice that the accident rate among anyone who threatens the village's perfect record is suspiciously, lethally high. With only the bumbling local bobby Dodger Trumpe as his reluctant partner, Pawsworth must unpick a web of collective murder hiding beneath bunting, brass bands, and bottomless tea — before the community watch decides he's the next threat to the winning streak.
