The Clangers vs Alien

When a facehugging horror crashes onto their cosy blue planet, the Clangers must defend their soup with nothing but whistles, iron chickens and knitted optimism. A metallic egg drifts through the void and thuds onto the Clangers’ small blue world. The curious family gathers around it, whistling excitedly. Major Clanger taps it with his telescope; the shell cracks and a glistening creature leaps onto Tiny Clanger, wrapping its tail around his knitted throat. Mother Clanger and Granny Clanger drag the squealing creature to the soup well, hoping the Soup Dragon can dissolve it. Instead the parasite bursts from Tiny Clanger’s chest in a shower of wool stuffing. The newborn xenomorph, confused by the planet’s cheerful music, begins stalking the tunnels. The Clangers lure it with a trail of hot soup. The creature slips, falls into the well and is promptly “improved” by the Soup Dragon. When the adult xenomorph finally emerges, dripping broth, it tries to roar but produces only a pathetic whistle. The family gathers around the table, bowls raised, while the planet’s iron chicken orbits contentedly overhead. The horror has been turned into dinner.
